For the fifth year running, Sumac Microfinance Bank has sponsored the Sigona Golf Night, which is a major event in the golfing calendar in Kenya.

The bank pledged to continue sponsoring this auspicious event, and has been credited with helping the Sigona Golf Club to thrive and develop. The event, which happened in mid-July 2018, attracted the participation of many members of the club as well as other renowned names in the golfing world in Kenya.

Speaking during the Awards Ceremony, Sumac Microfinance Bank CEO John Njihia offered to continue supporting the event for the foreseeable future.

“This Golf Night is an important gathering for all of us who are in business. It is a critical platform for sharing ideas and exchanging knowledge on how best we can improve our business environment. But most importantly, it is a meeting point for business people to build greater synergy and seal more business deals,” he said.

“Sumac Microfinance Bank has grown in recent years to command a loan book of about Ksh850 million, and that number is steadily growing. As a result of our growth, we were recently voted the Second Fastest Growing Microfinance Bank at the Think Business Banking Awards 2018. We are humbled by this award, and we can only thank all of you for your exemplary support, which helped us to achieve such great goals,” he added.

“In recent months, we have introduced very attractive rates for our Fixed Deposit Account and the Savings Account as well, and we hope we can extend such rates to all of you by virtue of this great friendship and relationship we have. Our team is always glad to explain the details, and will be on hand to assist as will be appropriate,” he said.

“As a financial institution, our greatest goal is to see communities, businesses and people’s lives transformed. Sumac Microfinance Bank is committed to this noble objective, and wishes to pledge our commitment and dedication to delivering quality financial services to you with little or less hassles along the way. Our aim is to continue setting standards in the financial sector across this country and beyond,” Mr Njihia said.

“When you require prompt, flexible and efficient financial services in a friendly environment, then come to Sumac Microfinance Bank. We will meet all your financial needs effectively and ensure we set you on a sure path to sustainable success and growth in your business endeavors,” he concluded.

He pledged that Sumac would pledge to continue supporting the event.
